From these, you will choose the size and type of yarn (acrylic is the standard); from the third, you will choose the brooch. If you do not see a code listed in the drop-down menu, that brooch is no longer available. Scroll down to see a larger picture of the brooches.
This is a crocheted flapper hat, made from a soft yarn of your choosing. One side is pulled into an asymmetrical twist, reminiscent of hats from the Roaring ’20s. Dramatic yet feminine, the flapper hats have consistently been one of my most popular items. These are especially flattering for short hairdos, because the shape doesn’t hide your hair like a typical beanie.
Sizing is as follows (rounded to nearest inch or centimeter):
Newborn (0-6 months): 16″ around, 6″ long (41cm, 15cm)
Infant (6-12 months): 18″ around, 6.5″ long (46cm, 17cm)
Toddler (1-3 years): 19″ around, 7″ long (48cm, 18cm)
Child (3-10 years): 20″ around, 7″ long (51cm, 18cm)
Pre-Teen and Adult Female: 22″ around, 7.5″ long (56cm, 19cm)
Adult Male: 23″ around, 8″ long (58cm, 20cm)

- 100% acrylic yarn
- Brooch of varying materials
